RSPB Minsmere Wild Woods Forest School Adventurers (7-11 yrs)

Minsmere’s Forest School returns for a morning of woodland fun for children aged 7-11. Activities may include den building, learning basic bushcraft or playing games around the campfire. Drinks and morning snack included. BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall. Advance booking not necessary.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under£3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

From Pen to Performance - April 12/13/14 : INK FESTIVAL

The 2019 Festival received a record number of scripts, over 250!, from which a selection of the very best will be produced for this Festival. It is expected that about 25 short plays will be selected, including five plays from our INKredibles – Shappi Khorsandi, Greg Mosse, Meg Rosoff, Paul Heiney and Scarlett Curtis. It should prove to be a weekend packed with a huge variety of work as well as workshops, talks, performance poetry from our patron Luke Wright and comedy from Shappi Khorsandi.

Points of View : Photography Exhibition

Points of View is an annual photography exhibition created by Chrissie Kitchen, Candy Blackham, Nick Eade, and Geoff Moore, who all live in Cratfield. The 2019 exhibition of nearly 100 photographs takes place this evening, and tomorrow Saturday 13th (see separate entry).
Varied photographic interests allow for creation of an interesting exhibition of landscape, wildlife, street and architectural photography, reflecting moments in time which have caught the photographers' imagination, feelings and thoughts. They would love to share their Points of View with you - don't miss this exhibition! Paybar and nibbles, tea and delicious cakes available. Enquiries to candyblackham@gmail.com .
