The Cut : Grand Bazaar 2021

Taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November, for all your gift and treat needs this Christmas! Come along for art, craft, music, food and drink. Café will serve coffee, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Also soup, sandwiches, sausage rolls plus a selection of cakes. With stalls in the café area, theatre, dance studio and Malt Room Gallery.

THE LIFE AND ART OF WILLIAM MORRIS: DESIGNER, POET, RADICAL

With tutor Lawrence Goldman. This day school will examine the most attractive and original of Victorians, the designer and political radical William Morris. We shall follow his life through Oxford, his friendships with the Pre-Raphaelite artists, his poetry, his brilliance as a decorative artist and designer, his ideas on art, his growing political radicalism, and the utopianism of his novel ‘News from Nowhere’.

EPP Film Evening - BALLOON (12A)

2018, 135m, German, with subtitles. A thrilling true story of a 1979 plan by two families to escape from East to West Germany using a home made hot air balloon, and risking detection by the Stasi.
Southwold Film Society membership required @ £10 a year or £3 for a film season, contact for details and for bookings. All seats bookable in advance to SFS members and their guests.
