RSPB Minsmere's Spring Weekend Wildlife

Discover what makes Minsmere such a special place to visit in spring as our guides show you some of our wildlife and historical highlights. We’ll look at signs of courtship, migrant birds, early flowers and insects and listen to the wonderful birdsong. Event lasts approx 4 hours. BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

Film, Crafts, Games, Art and more! with Southwold Library, for Children and their Families. Today 'Peter Rabbit', 2018, PG,95mins. Come and make your own rabbit ears and carrot bunting, play our 'roll a rabbit' game and take part in our Easter Egg hunt with eggy reward, whilst enjoying some crunchy carrot treats, bunny cupcakes and rabbit droppings. Refreshments available.
Ticket Details: Under 16s £3.00 (One carer free). Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Other Adults £5 per person.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall. Advanced booking not necessary.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

The Bohemian Choir - I'LL TAKE THAT ONE

The choir consists of eighteen students from the Technical university of Liberec. Liberec is a city in Bohemia, one hundred kilometres north of Prague. The singers are from many different faculties at the university, but the majority are studying to be teachers.
Concert lasts one hour and the choir sings contemporary and classical choral pieces. Stopford, Esenvalds. Dvorak and Smetana are some of the composers featured. With stories of the evacuation of children during wartime. Prepared by Jana Konvalinkova and Christopher Muffett.
