Are you a teenager 13-18 years looking for a career in conservation, or wanting to spend time outdoors with like-minded young people? Then join us on the third Saturday of every month for our popular Young Wardens group. You'll undertake a variety of habitat management or wildlife surveying activities, helping us to keep Minsmere in the perfect condition for all sorts of rare wildlife. Slaughter in Southwold: Southwold Library Crime Writers Festival

'Whodunnit' Puzzle Sheet available from library £1 - Book Token prize. Raffle tickets for a themed hamper available from library from 5th May.

Exhibition of Art Works by Michael Bullen

Taking place at The Studio in Walberswick from June 17th-29th. This remarkable building is an old wooden fisherman's house down by the harbour, built on stilts to protect it from the highest incoming tides. Large village car park nearby, also a couple of spaces at the Studio itself which can be used whilst at the Exhibition.
Michael is a long-established artist whose paintings and prints can also be viewed at his permanent exhibition at his Studio overlooking Market Place, Halesworth.

KRAUTROCK : An Introduction

Locally based enthusiast, Matt, will present key tracks from West Germany's Krautrock scene.... encompassing Avant Garde Rock, Electronic, Psychedelic Folk and more. Some of the most innovative and exciting music emerged from West Germany in the 1970s. Matt will take pleasure in playing his selection on vinyl but will also comment on the cultural and historic forces that led to 'Cosmic music'.
