The swim takes place on the beach below Gun Hill, Southwold at 10:30am. Nearest postcode is IP18 6HF. Parking within 200 yards on Ferry Road where you will also find public toilets. There is a step-free pathway to the beach.
Swimmers must be aged 16+ years on the day of the swim. Swimmers will enter the water at 10:30am. Registration essential, either on the day from 9:30am (£20), or in advance at reduced cost (£15). For this, you will be covered by the Rotary insurance policy and receive a wristband that must be worn during the event, and which you can exchange for a medal at the end of the swim. All of this money will go to the chosen charities which this year are RNLI, Parkinson's UK, and The Pear Tree Fund. Costs are covered by our sponsors.
