This unique children’s classic story is brought to life in colourful, fun, and engaging ballet performances, curated especially with young families and pre-schoolers in mind.
A hard-working shoemaker struggles to support his family. But when he sees a poor lady in need of help, he gives her his final pair of shoes. Cinema @ The Cut - MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (15)

on Wednesday, 29th May 2019
Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
Director Josie Rourke, 2018, UK, 125 mins with Saoirse Ronan, Margot Robbie, Joe Alwyn, David Tennant. Queens are certainly the darlings of cinema at the moment and this film sports two for the price of one! Each surrounded by a throng of duplicitous and powerful men, the struggle between Mary Stuart and her cousin Elizabeth takes on the quality of a duel between two lonely women who, in other circumstances, may well have been friends. David Tennant is excellent as the vitriolic John Knox, arch enemy of Mary, whom he refers to as the 'Queen Strumpet'.
