Bird Ringing at RSPB Minsmere

Waveney Bird Club’s ringing demonstrations are not to be missed. They offer unique and rare opportunities to experience close encounters with the Minsmere birds – you never know what you might see! Join us to discover more about the lives of the Minsmere birds, what migration adventures they have and the important work the club do every year. These are drop-in events, with no need to book. Ringing is weather dependent so the event may be cancelled or shortened if wet or windy.

Journey from the streets of Paris to the heart of a superb exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, whose extensive collection of Degas’ works is the most representative in Britain. With exclusive access to view rare and diverse works, this film tells a fascinating story of Degas’ pursuit for perfection through both experimentation with new techniques and lessons.

General Interest Tour of Holy Trinity Church, Blythburgh

Holy Trinity, Blythburgh is offering a new service. But this one doesn’t involve hymns, prayers or a sermon! Thanks to local resident Colin Huggins, we’re able to provide a free, general interest tour of the church every Thursday at 11am. There’s no need to book, you simply turn up in the church porch. Children are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour.
