Book online - see below. Join our experienced guides for an exclusive half-day walk to explore Minsmere’s important habitats and discover some of the amazing wildlife found there. This is a tailormade walk for a group of up to four people, and our guides will try to accommodate specific requests from attendees, wherever possible. They are perfect for small groups of friends who wish to learn more about Minsmere together. For a larger group please see booking page below. Walk is not recommended for children under 8 years old. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars or ask at reception about loaning a pair for the day.

Exhibition of Art Works by Michael Bullen

Taking place at The Studio in Walberswick from June 17th-29th. This remarkable building is an old wooden fisherman's house down by the harbour, built on stilts to protect it from the highest incoming tides. Large village car park nearby, also a couple of spaces at the Studio itself which can be used whilst at the Exhibition.
Michael is a long-established artist whose paintings and prints can also be viewed at his permanent exhibition at his Studio overlooking Market Place, Halesworth.

Nightjar Walk at Dunwich Heath (National Trust)

Meet at the NT Visitor Centre and join the Ranger for an evening walk around Dunwich Heath to search for the elusive and mysterious Nightjar. Learn more about these unusual birds which visit our heathlands during the summer months. Watch for them as they churr from the trees and fly low across the heath, hunting for moths and other insects. Sturdy footwear is advisable as some paths are uneven. You may wish to bring mosquito repellent, or a net, and binoculars if you have them. Parking charged for non-NT members. BOOKING ESSENTIAL - Admission charge applies to non-NT members.
