Exhibition of Art Works by Michael Bullen

Taking place at The Studio in Walberswick from June 17th-29th. This remarkable building is an old wooden fisherman's house down by the harbour, built on stilts to protect it from the highest incoming tides. Large village car park nearby, also a couple of spaces at the Studio itself which can be used whilst at the Exhibition.
Michael is a long-established artist whose paintings and prints can also be viewed at his permanent exhibition at his Studio overlooking Market Place, Halesworth.

Southwold Arts Festival : Lucy Shepherd – Amazon Uncharted: Into the Unknown

Southwold Arts Festival :Young Musicians – Musical Journeys: from Japan to Suffolk – Miyabi Duo

Featuring music by Suffolk-based composer Geoffrey Poole.The Miyabi Duo creates new music through collaboration with composers and have recorded music for a new album of Edward Cowie’s music.

Bring in any small items that need repair, together with appropriate wool, or parts. Learn how to mend them alongside a friendly repairer, enjoy a cake, cuppa and a chat. Helping to rebuild skills, whilst counteracting needless waste. A donation and a completed form is all that is required. Alternatively, if you have any skills to offer, then please get in touch.

Southwold Arts Festival : Charlie & “The Dig”

Doors open 1:15pm. This afternoon Charlie Haylock gives an intriguing and hilarious behind-the-scenes look of the Netflix film "The Dig" about the famous Sutton Hoo burial ship. He will show how Ralph Fiennes, who played Basil Brown, learned his Suffolk accent and the extreme lengths he took, not only to play, but to become, Basil Brown.
