Summer Wildlife, at RSPB Minsmere

With birdsong winding down and moult making bird identification tricky, it’s the perfect time to switch attention to Minsmere’s less obvious residents. Our guides will reveal a whole new world to you: of marvellous minibeasts and beautiful blooms. What you’ll see will be weather-dependent and vary as summer progresses, but you’ll look for bees, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers and any birds that our guides spot. PLEASE NOTE walk may be cancelled if wet weather. Event not suitable for children aged under 8 years. No dogs,except registered assistance dogs.

Exhibition of Art Works by Michael Bullen

Taking place at The Studio in Walberswick from June 17th-29th. This remarkable building is an old wooden fisherman's house down by the harbour, built on stilts to protect it from the highest incoming tides. Large village car park nearby, also a couple of spaces at the Studio itself which can be used whilst at the Exhibition.
Michael is a long-established artist whose paintings and prints can also be viewed at his permanent exhibition at his Studio overlooking Market Place, Halesworth.

Southwold Arts Festival : Radio Caroline – The True Story of the Boat That Rocked

Southwold Arts Festival : Young Musicians – Abi Mansley and Alex Dixon

Doors open at noon. A recital featuring two talented singers Abi Mansley (Soprano) and Alex Dixon (Tenor) from Norwich School, accompanied by Norwich Cathedral organist David Dunnett.
Both pupils are part of Making Musicians, Norwich School’s music scholarship programme, which is an exciting developmental enrichment scheme designed to nurture talented young musicians at Norwich School and the wider community.
